Hello everyone! Welcome to our Classroom Page!
A HUGE Thank you to all of our front line workers who are keeping us all safe and healthy during this difficult time.
Happy Birthday to everyone who is celebrating a birthday this month! We celebrate you!
Cooperation is April's character trait. Cooperation means working together for the same end result. "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."

Caring for Yourself
Monday, April 6th, 2020

Everyone needs to take care of themselves. Go Noodle is a fun family friendly site to have everyone move and feel better.

Reading and Writing Workshop
Monday, April 6th, 2020

We have started a fairy tale unit. Continue to read fairy tales you have in your home or on line. Discuss with someone in your family the setting, characters, problem, and solution. Create your own fairy tale using your own characters, or change the ending of a fairy tale you have read. Don't forget the details and punctuation!

Monday, April 6th, 2020

We are focusing on Numeracy at this time. We have begun to learn about money, the value of the coins, their Canadian features. (For example the nickel is worth 5 cents and it has a beaver on it.)
Practice singing "I've got Canada in my pocket"

Monday, April 6th, 2020

During these challenging times, it is important to be thinking about all the things we can be grateful for. Start making a list of things you are grateful for and continue to add onto it each day! You will be amazed how big your list can grow too!

Monday, April 6th, 2020

Subtracting the biggest number from the smallest number requires lots of practice. Using two dice roll two numbers. Take the largest number and subtract the smallest number from it. You can also use counters that you have in your house. For example 12 - 6 = 6

As you go on walks or bike rides with your family, please look around our West Rouge Community. Look for signs of spring. What animals are you seeing and hearing? What do you notice about the trees? Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine!
